SAUVIGNON 'TANNENBERG' MANINCOR 2022 DESCRIPTION

The white Sauvignon "Tannenberg" presents itself as a wine in which clarity, complexity and freshness are its key characteristics. A label that is the result of the approach of Michael Goëss-Enzenberg, owner of the Manincor winery, who combines nature, passion and tradition into one, to give authentic and expressive products. Just like this "Tannenberg," which has the composure and tranquility of those who know they are great, seduces slowly, without the need to unveil its qualities in a brash manner. The charm of kindness, directly in the glass, to savor the beauty of a white wine from Alto Adige.

This "Tannenberg" Sauvignon comes from Tannenberg grapes grown by the Manincor winery on the Lieben Aich estate in Terlan. The vineyards, located about 380 meters above sea level, are rooted in sandy-porphyry soil of volcanic origin. Once the grapes are harvested and brought to the winemaking facilities, they are destemmed, then macerated for 12 hours; fermentation takes place spontaneously, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, in oak barrels. In wood, the wine ages for about 9 months, resting on fine lees until bottling.

The wine "Tannenberg" Sauvignon develops in the glass with a golden color, glowing and bright. The nose has clear hints of fruit, enhanced by light aromas with an vegetal profile. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, dynamic, with an enveloping and fresh drink, characterized by a balanced sip, endowed with a very persistent finish. A Manincor signature label ideal to pair with fish dinners, both sea and freshwater, cooked with different preparations.
