Persegà' is a Valpolicella Classico Superiore that comes from the vineyard of the same name in the heart of Marano, where the typical vines of the area grow on volcanic soil. Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella ripen without appassimento in pursuit of an 'old-fashioned' profile for the area. The nose has intense hints of red and black fruit, as well as subtle hints of aromatic herbs. Fresh and dry on the palate, it surprises with its tanginess and sharpness on the sip. A perfect table companion, to be tried throughout the meal with risottos, meats and cheeses
Intense ruby red
Cherry and violet flowers, then dark fruits such as blackberry and hints of herbs
Fragrant and persistent, with integrated but well-present tannins, elegant and clean, very savoury even on the finish
