'W...Dreams' Jermann 2019

The “W…Dreams” is yet another masterpiece from the Jermann winery, a name that has become a symbol of Friulian winemaking as well as synonymous with quality and excellence. Jermann is one of those agricultural enterprises with one foot in the past and an eye towards the future, ever since its founder, Anton Jermann, left his homeland—then part of Austria—to create a new future in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

It was 1881, and since then, more than 120 years later, the Jermann family has maintained the winemaking tradition, creating wines with the same spirit that Silvio Jermann's great-grandfather managed to capture in his bottles. A traditional and ancient soul that fascinates, yet is made even more precious by the skillful use of the most refined techniques of modern enology. The Chardonnay “W…Dreams” owes its name to the U2 song “Where the Streets Have No Name,” featured on the 1987 album The Joshua Tree.

At Jermann, the ellipsis indicates the rest of the phrase "where dreams come true," but they prefer to specify that everyone can interpret it as they wish.
