Bimber Single Malt 4 Years Old The Black Cat Series Whisky Facile strikes a deep and mature expressiveness, attributable in part to aging in casks used for Sherry by Pedro Ximenez. The young Bimber distillery, creator of this bottle selected by Whisky Facile, is based in London, where in 2016 it rested its first cask and in 2019 began marketing its single malt whiskies. The selection 'The Black Cat Series' is the work of Whisky Facile, a project started in Milan in 2011 with the intention of telling everything inherent to the world of whisky. This range encompasses carefully selected products marketed as Single Cask through colorful labels depicting a black cat.

The Black Cat Series Bimber Whisky Facile 4 Years Old Single Malt Whisky is derived from only floor malted barley. The malted barley is then steeped in hot water and fermented in open vats for a week, with the so-called "wash" which is then distilled in small stills fired by direct fire. Once the distillation process is finished, the liquid is aged in oak barrels previously used to mature Sherry da Pedro Ximenez, for a period of 4 years. The whiskey is finally bottled without undergoing any color correction or cold filtration.

The Black Cat Series 4 Years Old Single Malt Whisky from Bimber Distillery and Whisky Facile has a bright amber color. The nose evokes very intense aromas of honey, propolis and ripe fruit, accompanied by hints of milk chocolate, leather and raisins due to the passage in former PX sherry casks. Deep, warm and enveloping the taste, endowed with a lingering finish on the sensations of the nose.
