Colline della Stella is a winery that shines in the firmament of Franciacorta, born in the late nineties from the great and young passion of Andrea Arici, together with the experience of the oenologist and friend Nico Danes and Terra Uomo Cielo wine blogger Giovanni Arcari.
Early in the history of Colline della Stella, Andrea Arici, just twenty years old, with the help of his father Francesco, decided to recover the old abandoned terraces, overgrown by brambles between walls of ancient collapsed livelihood, in the far east of the territory of Franciacorta, near Brescia, in the municipality of Gussago. These lands extend from the steep slopes of hills and highly calcareous soils, a perfect cradle for the vineyards of pinot noir of Andrea, whose full and vigorous style emerges from the first aroma.
By choosing to become the only winemaker to produce exclusively Franciacorta Dosage Zero, Andrea wanted to exalt the purest of his grapes. A bold decision, an expression of a philosophy: in fact, without added sugar it is possible enjoying an exciting flavor and minerality, which are deep and elegant... a perfect story of a territory and love for the tastes of Franciacorta.
