It's hard to believe that Dal Forno winery is continually able to offer exceptional wines of great tannin structure and balanced acidity, with a really superb softness. Yet it is so, harvest after harvest. Romano Dal Forno was born in 1957 in Capovilla, a few kilometers from Illasi. It was in this environment, where the wine more than one product is a philosophy of life, the family takes care of their vineyards for the past four generations. The turning point in his life and for his work came at age 22, when he met Giuseppe Quintarelli, who became for him an illuminating guide: opened his eyes to a new way of producing wine and plant vineyards, making him feel the importance to focus on quality rather than quantity. The early days were characterized by many difficulties, but the union of the family and the contribution of the Romano sons, Marco, Luca and Michele, led the winery to quickly become an absolute benchmark in the global wine scene. For years, through the efforts of the whole family, the company has achieved standard difficult to beat, persevering in order to offer unique pleasures and emotions to anyone drink a product from Dal Forno. A winery that tells of a territory and its tradition: an absolute reference point.
