Kristian Keber is a second-generation winemaker, immersed in the principles of viticulture from a young age. The son of Edi Keber, owner of one of the most representative estates in the Collio Goriziano, Kristian inherited a vineyard of about two hectares in Medana, Slovenia, in the Kozlink subzone, from his grandfather. A magical place on the border, where the landscape alternates between forests and vineyards, flourishing and rich. Kristian is dedicated to a strongly territorial production, following the principles of biodynamic agriculture to create authentic and expressive sips.

Kristian Keber's vineyard, located in Medana, is just under two hectares in size, situated less than three kilometers from his childhood home in Cormons. In the vineyard, yields are intentionally kept low to obtain clusters rich in properties, capable of expressing the characteristics of each grape variety to the fullest. The work follows the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, paying close attention to lunar phases and using preparations such as horn manure. Pruning is carried out following the Simonit method. Among the rows, indigenous varieties of the region are cultivated, including Malvasia Istriana, Friulano, and Ribolla Gialla, with vines that reach fifty years of age. In the cellar, the grapes are left to ferment spontaneously, without temperature control, using native yeasts. During bottling, Kristian does not perform any filtration operations.

Kristian Keber's winery is a young and promising production reality that currently focuses on a single label, the "Brda," an orange wine that, after vinification, undergoes a two-year maturation before being bottled without any filtration. The label is distinctive, featuring seven letters "k," each representing a stake with two shoots, accompanied by human figures mimicking vineyard work during the development of the four seasons. A bottle with which Kristian confirms the success of the journey undertaken and materializes the first fruits of his dream.
