The domaine Vial Magnères is located in the "clos" Saint-André in Banyuls-sur-mer, at the southern French region of Languedoc Roussillon. The company is run by the same family for three generations, through a series of sequences between father and son: the founder André Magnères leaves the domaine in-law Gaby Vial in the 60s and these, in turn, in 1985, leaves him in-law Bernard Saperas who wanted to pay tribute to his predecessors remembering them both in the name of the domaine Vial Magnères. Bernard Saperas before becoming a wine producer, was a chemical used in a laboratory agribusiness, intervened in the Company to assist in the production of Banyuls Gaby, it was immediately keen to wine production (he had his diploma winemaker ) and had started doing various experiments, including the production, first in the world, a white Banyuls and so had decided to abandon the testing laboratory to devote himself to wine. The domaine is now run by Olivier Saperas, son of Bernard, and has ten hectares of vineyards, divided into various plots in the best "appellations" of the region. These vineyards, from shale, climbing on the slopes of the hill, on terraces sometimes difficult to reach with farm machinery, the company produces Grenache, three varieties in black, white and gray, and small amounts of Syrah and Carignan, the three varieties that are the basis of all the large production of wines from the cellar, all of excellent quality.
