The "Compania de vinedos Iberian" has its registered office in a small town, El Puerto de Santa Maria, which is located at the center of the bay of Cadiz, in southern Spain. The Osborne family, owner of the "Compania", has a long tradition of wine in the area, which had operated since the eighteenth century. An important turning point came in 1980 when Borja Osborne Osborne Rufina bride descending from a secondary branch of the family. The copy gives birth to seven children growing increasingly collaborating closely with his father and, years later, they create the "Compania". The seat is fixed in the former palace of the family, with wonderful views over the bay of Cadiz, but initially the wine business is limited to a small vineyard in the locality Pasquera del Duero, near Valladolid where wine is produced exclusively "stained", ie red. The great success of this activity, induces the "Compania" expand: in Catalonia, near Tarragona, the company buys new plots and creates new "bodegas" throughout Spain. Today the "Compania" is a giant in the world in the production of Spanish wines and wine-making activity has added numerous other activities, such as the buying and selling of all types of wines, spirits and alcoholic beverages in general. The Wine Oropendola is a wonderful white, made from grapes Verdejo in purity, in whose scent and flavor are found all the typicality of the land from which they come.
