Its main feature is the slightly over-ripe grapes on the vine; the result is a structured wine, with a great aroma and softness that is developed with a long aging on lees for 12 months before being transferred to steel and sit for at least 6 months in bottle. The Lugana Superiore "Demesse Vecchie" by Olivini comes from a cru of this winery, on a vineyard located along the fascinating hills of the amphitheater on Lake Garda; it is here that the family Olivini since 1970 has made its mission to promote and spread the Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana), the vine from which the Lugana, contributing as much as possible to enhance its peculiarities. The Lugana Superiore "Demesse Vecchie" by Olivini is a white wine with great minerality and this is made possible thanks to the rich soil of clay that transfers to the plant all the salts that are found in the soil. In the glass the "Demesse Vecchie" shows a straw yellow with golden veins that make it immediately fascinating and intriguing; the nose is a succession and a succession of tropical fruit and citrus, with a final in which you feel pleasant hints of almonds and honey.
