The Joseph Drouhin Domaine is one of the largest and most important wineries in Burgundy, and is located in the town of Beaune, with 78 hectares of vineyards in the Chablis, Côte d'Or and Côte Chalonnaise regions. It was founded back in 1880 and, since then, has always been owned by the Drouhin family, growing larger and larger over the years and becoming a reference point for prestigious Burgundy labels throughout the world. Today, this great domaine is led by the fourth generation of the family, which is represented by Frédèric and Veronique, and covers more than 90 important AOCs, with about two-thirds of the properties in Premier and Grand Cru.

Starting in the 1950s, under Robert's leadership, Domaine Joseph Drouhin was the first to adopt integrated pest management and reasoned viticulture systems in Bourgogne, avoiding the use of pesticides and other chemicals. Today, all the vineyards have been converted to organic and biodynamic agriculture, using only natural substances such as plant-based treatments. In the vineyard, high planting densities are favoured and the oldest vines are enhanced, while in the cellar fermentation is carried out using indigenous yeasts. The objective of these choices has always been to invest everything in the quality of production and in the potential of the territory. The vast and inestimable heritage of vineyards, which includes 39 hectares in Chablis, 36 hectares in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune and 3 hectares in the Côte Chalonnaise, consists of exceptional cru such as Clos des Mouches, Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche, Musigny, Clos des Vins. Musigny, Clos de Vougeot, Corton-Charlemagne and many others. These are great points of reference for the most demanding lovers of Chardonnay or Pinot Noir wines.

For over 130 years, the wines of Domaine Joseph Drouhin have been synonymous with excellence, elegance and prestige. It has made a significant contribution to enhancing the traditions and different aspects of the various Burgundy territories, offering complex, rich, elegant and inimitable interpretations. The production style is best expressed in the concepts of character, balance and harmony, which can be found both when the wines are young, fresh and subtle, and after several years of bottle ageing, when they are able to present themselves in all of their richness and complexity. They appeal to the most important international markets, presenting themselves as some of the best examples of Burgundy wines.
