Since its foundation in 1811, the historic and prestigious Maison Perrier Jouet has always distinguished itself in the panorama of Champagne for elegance and refinement, creating fresh, soft and floral expressions, born from first-class cuvées with a strong presence of Chardonnay. Over the course of two centuries of history, Perrier-Jouët Champagnes have been the stars of royal and princely banquets, such as those of Napoleon III and Queen Victoria, and have become the favourite drink of high-profile personalities and style icons such as Princess Grace of Monaco.
Perrier-Jouët is based in Epernay, in the premises known as Maison Belle Epoque, the former home of the Perrier-Jouët family, which has now become a magnificent luxury hotel. It is a magical and enchanting place, embellished with Art Nouveau masterpieces. These include the original drawings of the gold-patterned anemone and the volutes of white flowers that appear on Perrier-Jouët champagne bottles, the 1902 work of Émile Gallé, painter and master glassmaker, the initiator of Art Nouveau in France.
Like the designs that adorn the bottles, Perrier Jouet Champagnes are true works of art, born from the best plots on the Côte de Blanc, where Chardonnay grapes with exuberant floral aromas grow, capable of expressing articulate aromatic complexity. These are unique and inimitable expressions, endowed with a strong identity. An ancient and precious savoir-faire that has been handed down for two centuries lies at the heart of the House's style and translates into a refined and subtle style, aromatically intense, combining charm and elegance, creating dream Champagnes that are as refined and precious as silk lace and as multifaceted as diamonds.
