AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO RISERVA DE BURIS 2010 DESCRIPTION

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva De Buris is a collector's bottle, reserved for connoisseurs and great fans of Valpolicella's most famous and precious wine. De Buris is the exclusive high-end brand created by the Tommasi family, owners of a historic winery in the area, who wanted to create a luxury label. The wine bears the name of the oldest mansion in Valpolicella, Villa De Buris, symbolizing the strong link with the place of production. The wine comes from a careful selection of grapes and is released after a very long aging period. It offers a taste experience of the highest level that rightfully projects it among the best bottles on the Italian wine scene.

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva De Buris wine is the fruit of more than a century of experience. The Tommasi family represents a piece of Valpolicella's history and precisely by putting its expertise to good use, it has decided to offer the market a new interpretation of Amarone of absolute quality. The grapes of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta come from the vineyards of La Groletta, a ten-hectare plot, of which only the two hectares located in the highest area, facing southwest and characterized by predominantly clayey soils, are used to produce this label. Harvesting takes place when the grapes are fully ripe, and the healthiest bunches are set out to dry, so that they naturally dehydrate, concentrating sugars and aromas. At the end of the classic red wine vinification, which takes place with the use of only indigenous yeasts and a long maceration on the skins, the wine is transferred to large Slavonian oak barrels, where it rests for at least 5 years, and then completes its aging in the bottle.

The red Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva De Buris is a culmination of a long journey that wants to give voice to one of the great reds of our wine heritage. A wine born from the desire to create a unique, precious and carefully crafted label. To the eye it presents a dark ruby red color. Complex and very intense, it gives aromas ranging from small berries, currant jam, sweet spices, cocoa and balsamic and herbal nuances. The palate is structured, warm and deep, with dense and enveloping aromas, silky tannins and a finish of remarkable flavor persistence.
