The Chianti Classico by Tenuta di Nozzole - Folonari is one of the best Chianti Classico in circulation, as evidenced by 2010 vintage, included in the Top 50 by Wine Spectator. The company Folonari is a historic cellar in Tuscany, a family who work in the world of wine since 1700; Tenuta di Nozzole, a historic farm located in the heart of Chianti Classico, was purchased by the family Folonari in 1971. We are at Greve in Chianti on vineyards at 300 meters above sea level; here the Sangiovese, the grape variety par excellence of Tuscany, is able to give the best of themselves. With a harvesting generally carried out in the first half of October, the Tenuta di Nozzole - Folonari makes this Chianti Classico with alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in barrels of Slavonian oak. Thus was born the Chianti Classico Tenuta di Nozzole - Folonari, a Chianti Classico able to surprise her beautiful bouquet of wild berries, violet and black cherry that closes with menthol notes. A Chianti Classico with a beautiful structure and elegant tannins. A Chianti Classico that is really worth a try.
