The Barbaresco "Pajorè" by Rizzi is a Barbaresco with a quality/price ratio extraordinary. Ernesto, who founded the winery in 1974, he grew up with a passion for the land, the wine and the vineyard; a passion that was able to immediately pour it into a great wine. This stems from the grapes grown in Barbaresco cru Pajorè, one of the most popular of the entire territory of the Langhe. Here the vineyard is 3 acres and is located between 230 and 300 meters above sea level, with southern exposure and very poor marl soils. The Barbaresco "Pajorè" by Rizzi was born with a manual harvest in the first or second week of October and is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 18-20 days. The aged is conducted for 12-18 months in Slavonian oak casks and then for 12 months in cement tanks and steel. We are faced with a Barbaresco "Pajorè" from the typical red garnet, which opens on the nose with a nice complexity of floral components, such as purple and pink, and red fruits such as raspberry and strawberry and then finish with hints of leather, black pepper, clove and licorice. The Barbaresco "Pajorè" by Rizzi is warm, mellow, balanced and has a nice tannic structure. It's a Barbaresco that combines finesse and power, femininity and elegance.
