The Pinot Nero by Dalzocchio is one of the finest expressions of Italian vine closer to Burgundy. A winery doing manual labor in the vineyard and in the winery's philosophy; a basement that has decided to rely on the generosity of nature, to their traditional skills to bring to the cellar a grape as possible healthy and rich aromas; no intervention, no subsidies. The Pinot Nero by Dalzocchio is the simplest expression of the grape; expression that Elizabeth makes wine ferment spontaneously leaving the skins on and stalks in oak vats, with no added yeast and enzymes. We are in Trentino, on the gentle slopes lapping Rovereto, on vines that are between 10 and 35 years and they see spend the days in full harmony with nature. The Pinot Nero by Dalzocchio is rich, is austere, appears in all its elegant notes of wood and herbaceous; is straight, slender, intense, which over the years will give the tertiary notes of rare beauty; is an intense wine, but never hard. The nose berries alternate beautifully plum, spices, aromatic herbs. We are faced with a Pinot Nero that gives softness and enveloping the one hand, and on the other austerity and verticality. Fermentation in contact with the stems makes slender, fulfilling, rough, intense. A stunning example of Pinot Nero; the suggest is to buy more bottles to appreciate the wonderful evolution that will give away over time...
