The Pasqua winery is one of the most important wineries in the Veneto region in terms of the volumes produced, the protagonist of wines that reflect the oenological spirit of the Veneto. Founded in 1925, for more than a century the estate has been run by the Pasqua family, skilful in always reinterpreting the region's winemaking tradition in a modern and innovative way, particularly the Veronese territory, with a focus on the prestigious Valpolicella appellations. Management is currently in the hands of President Umberto Pasqua, assisted by his sons Riccardo and Alessandro. In recent times, the winery has also distinguished itself through countless collaborations with artists from all over the world, who are able to creatively communicate the appeal of wine by illustrating the labels. Fundamental to the estate is also the concept of sustainability, both in the environmental as well as the economic and social spheres. With this in mind, the energy consumption of production processes is reduced to an absolute minimum, as is the waste of materials needed for packaging.

The grapes processed by the Pasqua family come from various prized territories in the Veneto region, such as Valpolicella, Garda, Soave and Treviso. From this it can be deduced that the varietal platform is very broad and the pedoclimatic characteristics of the vineyards are very heterogeneous. Specifically, the plots in the Soave area are up to 600 metres above sea level, planted on volcanic soils and reserved for Garganega, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc vines. Instead, the property in Valpolicella, the most extensive, includes vineyards located in the Valpantena and generic Valpolicella areas, rooted on clay-limestone soils and dedicated to the Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta, Croatina, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties. The oenological processes are then adapted to the properties of the grapes, always striving for a clean and balanced style that enhances the facets of the different areas of origin.

This wealth of terroirs and grape varieties gives rise to the Pasqua winery'sextensive and valuable production , subdivided into different collections based on the area of origin and the style adopted. Prominent among these selections are 'Icons', 'Famiglia Pasqua' and 'Cecilia Beretta', the latter an autonomous brand launched by the Pasqua family in the early 1980s.
