Rosé des Agriates by Domaine Giacometti is a rosé wine with an amber peach color. His Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu vines are influenced all year round by the strong Libeccio wind that gives freshness and minarality. The grapes go through a direct pressing, then undergo 24 hours of cold pressing and a fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The bouquet offers fruity notes and aromas of white flowers with a delicate and pure sip.

Domaine Giacometti's Rosé des Agriates was born in the fascinating terroir of the désert des Agriates area, a vast region of sand dunes stretching from the north coast of Corsica inland. A wild and fascinating land that falls under the Patrimonio appellation, among the best known and most prestigious on the Île de Beauté. It is a rosé with a typically Mediterranean profile, fresh, delicate and saline, perfectly expressing the character of a unique place and the experience of a winery that has always produced immediate and direct artisanal wines, with an authentic and straightforward taste, characterized by floral scents, citrus and fruity hints.
Rosé des Agriates wine is the fruit of an estate in love with its terroir and its ancient traditions. Domaine Giacometti has always had a very respectful approach to this environment and its special characteristics. This is precisely why they have decided to follow the principles of organic farming, carried out in harmony with a precious ecosystem, to be preserved with care and attention. The winery's philosophy is geared toward the production of authentic and expressive wines, capable of synthesizing the essence of the terroir of Patrimonio. The Giacometti family cultivates 26 hectares planted with vines historically found on the island. Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu grapes are harvested by hand and the bunches selected in the vineyard, are then soft-pressed with brief contact on the skins. After a 24-hour cold static decantation, the must is vinified in white with spontaneous fermentation and use of only indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine is aged for 6 months on the lees, also undergoing malolactic fermentation.
Domaine Giacometti's Rosé des Agriates is a splendid version of this type of wine, which finds its greatest expression along the Mediterranean coast of France. Tradition, culture and terroir come together in a label of excellent quality. It has a luminous soft pink color and gives a bouquet marked by refined nuances of white flowers and orange blossom, aromas of citrus, raspberry, pomegranate, red currant and hints of iodine. Clear and flowing, it has a delicately fruity sip, leading to a fresh, saline finish.
